we here in Hidalgo county are becoming more and more like our neighboring country to the south.
for example:
oscar garza jr.defended the Hidalgo Co Commissioners' pay raise, by comparing themselves to superintendents. my questions and annoyance comes from a report on channel 4 news declaring that not one of our elected county officials had a College Degree. Superintendents throughout our nation MUST be equiped with more than one degree along with State certifications to boot. How can County Tax payers agree to such raises without justification. Hey Some Americans went to WAR for these types of STUNTS (TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION) and Sadly we the Hidalgo Taxpayer have seen no VALID REPRESENTATION from our Elected Officials. Jerry Macquire once coined the Phrase, "SHOW ME THE MONEY" now we the Hidalgo County Taxpayer are gonna have to coin our own phrase, "SHOW US YOUR CREDENTIALS" because almost every job now pays according to Education and qualifications. Only in the Valley do you have this type of RAPE from our very own Political Officials. Commissioner Joe Flores at least stated he would donate his 90,000.00 salary to the Mission boys and girls club, so then why not just allocate funds for such cause rather than burdening ALL county taxpayers? I strongly encourage for taxpayers to voice their opinion on this matter, someone get Uncle Sam on the phone, theirs an agravated rape & robbery in progress in Hidalgo County. Why should the county sheriff make more money than his boss, the county judge? ONLY IN THE VALLEY...It is no wonder, that this area is becoming more and more like Mexico politically and socio-economically.

I can't possibly believe that earn my vote has started a hate campaign against joe garza for his coverage of NATIONAL PRAYER DAY in front of the court house.
I saw The video on you tube and it was a great video and we prayed for our city, our government and our youth. Garza did an excellent job. If The Politics of Hate exist in our town they are only fermented in the sick minds of people like you. On the other side of town Mayor Ochoa was also holding a prayer day and you also criticized him and the rest of the people there.
One of the more powerful tools in the hands of those waging war against Christianity is "Hate." and
EARN MY VOTE is against Christianity.

Hate is something that Bible believers understand will become more prevelant in our world as we near the end of times. Indeed, as John 15:18-21 pointed out, it is something Christians should not be surprised at as non-believers scramble to try to erase the knowledge of sin in their lives.
“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other..." [Matt. 24:9-10]
What the Church is experiencing today might be the preparations being made to fulfill Matthew 24:9 as we draw near to the end. It is a process being refined by those that reject God and will likely be perfected in the hands of the antichrist (Rev. 13:16).
The first step in the progression toward persecution of persons is identification. The second is marginalization; the third, vilification; the fourth, criminalization; and finally, persecution. This was the tactic Germany used against the Jews, and it is now the same tactic being used by EARN MY VOTE in Edinburg against the Christian church.
